Shanita Ronae Beasley-Johnson, 37, KCMO, passed away on March 21, 2016.

She was born January 4, 1979, one of three children to the union of Ronnie and Teresa Beasley in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Irene Jones; grandparents, John and Flossie Williamson; grandfather, Dewitt T. Winston, Jr.; and an uncle, Andre Williamson.

Shanita confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Before her health declined, she was a faithful member of Calvary Temple Baptist Church where she diligently served in the Adult Choir and was a devoted member of the Sisterhood Department for many years.

Shanita grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Grandview High School. She was an active member of the Kansas City Marching Cobras. She loved spending time with her family, kicking it with laughter, jokes, drinks, and food. She was an employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City for over ten years.

Shanita was blessed to marry the love of her life, William C. Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri. They were united in holy matrimony on February 14, 2009. From that union they blended a family of five children.

She leaves to cherish her devoted husband of seven years, William Johnson; two sons, Ka'Drian and Ka'Von Jones; two stepsons, Lavion and Carl; one step-daughter, Iscis all of Kansas City, MO; her loving parents, Ronnie and Teresa Beasley; three sisters, LaTonya Williamson (Vincent) and Kim Beasley-Zweifel (Marcus) of Raymore, MO, and JaNea' McNeal (Charles) of Lee's Summit, MO; mother-in-law, Regina Johnson 'That's Da Momma' of Kansas City, MO; and two sisters-in-law, Georgina Johnson-Williams (Don) and Victoria Anderson; three uncles all of Kansas City, MO, one aunt of Snellville, GA, along with a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Temple Baptist Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.--Cooley Marcom Harvey Funeral Care
