Claude A. Bennett, 75, Chelan, died Wednesday morning in a Chelan hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Bennett was born May 11, 1902, in Knife Lake, Minn. In 1905 the family moved to Washington and took a steamboat up the Columbia River to Chelan Falls.
He married Sue Hardesty June 29, 1929, in Spokane.
Surviving are his wife, Sue, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Wallis Friel, Pullman; a son, Roger, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Paul Richardson, Chelan; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
