Carlisle Bennett passed away Tuesday evening about 9 o'clock after a lingering illness of about a month. The funeral was held from the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon. The casket, banked with flowers, was borne by his Sunday school class: Elton Richardson, Laurel Hunt, Willis Hunt, John Van Slyke, Leo House and Ross Hall. Rev. Corn made appropriate remarks and a quartet, composed of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Ogden, Mrs. N. Higgins and Mr. Sargent rendered beautiful music.

Carlisle Lauder Bennett was born in Harrison, Idaho, July 16, 1905, died May 14, 1918. He is survived by two brothers, James and Claud, and one sister, Elsie. Neither parents are living. Since the death of their mother, three years ago, the children have made their home with their aunt, Mrs. Wm. Brown, who was proved her untiring devotion during her nephew's illness. The family have the sincere sympathy of the community.
