War Veteran Is Found Dead Aboard Train

William R. Hoyt, Fort Lauderdale, Dies on Way to Monroe City, Ind.

William R. Hoyt, 82, died Saturday while aboard a train for Monroe City, Ind. He was found dead when the train arrived at Vincennes, Ind. Mr. Hoyt formerly resided in Fort Lauderdale with his son, Clifford Hoyt. He was a Civil war veteran and one of the founders of the Henry Clay Roome post, G. A. R. of Miami. Mr. Hoyt leaves two sons. Walter and Clifford Hoyt, both of Miami. Burial will be at Brooksville, L. I., N. Y.
