Mr. Barham was born on Sept. 27, 1918, at Cass, Ark., and spent his early life there. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. Following his discharge he returned to Cass and on May 27, 1949, was married to Mae Etheridge at Clarksville, Ark. The made their home at Ozark, Ark., until July 1972, when they moved to Manson.
Since his Army discharge, in 1945, Mr. Barham had been employed as a logger. He had attended the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Gary C., of Manson; four stepsons, Jimmy Cordell, of Muncie, Ind., Richard Cordell, of Nashville, Tenn., David Cordell, of Altus, Ark., and Clarence Cordell, of for Worth, Texas; a stepdaughter, Nanette Bettis, Russellville, Ark.; two brothers, Elgin and Virgil Barham both of Ozark, Ark.; two sisters, Velma Etheridge and Wanda Fay Bradley, both of Manson; and 13 grandchildren.
