her son John & dau Catherine are also buried here, I believe the Mrs. Blackwell referred to in Rothrock diary is Sophia Shuman Blackwell, mother of John & Catherine and wife of Benjamin Blackwell
I have down she was born in 1793, but 1850 census has 1800
She is listed in the NC Bastardy Bonds list, she become pregnant out of wedlock in May 1814 she had to go to court and post a bond and name the father (Benjamin Blackwell), so before they married in 1816 they had a child, not sure what became of it.
