Pamela A. Chase-Szabo, 55, passed away on April 3, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on March 21, 1949 in Santa Ana, CA.
Pamela moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 12 years ago from Hemet, CA. She worked as a substitute teacher for Lake Havasu School District for 6 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and her family would like to say special thanks to Jodi Deru and her many friends at her church who became Pamela's extended family.
She is survived by her son Matt Chase of Escondido, CA; daughters Chrystal Benitez of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Lisa Findley of Bedford, TX; mother Margaret M. Walker of Hemet, CA; brother Donald Boyd of Hemet, CA; sister Pattie Sly of San Marcos, CA; grandchildren Matthew, Vance Deprice, Meadows, Jason and ex-husband Mickey Szabo.
She was preceded in by her father Richard Walker, brother David Boyd and her uncle Harold Boyd.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 1:00 pm with Bishop Larry Lundin officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust account established at Wells Fargo Bank, in Pam's memory. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
