Donald Willis Hughes, age 62, of Dublin, Ohio passed away Monday, August 1, 2022. A native of Alger, Ohio, Don was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School, Bowling Green State University (BS), Morehead State University (MBA), and Ohio Northern University (JD). He married the love of his life, Sherri Jean Ristoff, on September 1, 1984. Don was a partner with Squire Patton-Boggs, where he enjoyed practicing law for the last 25 years. Together with his wife he founded and operated Hughes Family Hearing Aid Center in Delaware, Ohio for 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Gladys Hughes of Lima, Ohio. Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who devoted himself above all to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a long-time member of Northwest Presbyterian Church in Dublin, Ohio, where he served as an elder, small group leader, and board member for Campus Outreach, a vital ministry to undergraduate students. Don loved to play his guitar and was a regular member of the worship band. He did not care for honors or reputation but sought to exemplify in all things "faith working through love" (Galatians 5:6).
