Glover, Christine Jackson, MI (formerly of Ypsilanti) Age 84, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. She was born April 14, 1923 in Adamsville, TN, the daughter of William and Minnie Belle (Sharp) Rogers. On June 29, 1940, she married George T. Glover in Murray, KY and he preceded her in death March 15, 1992. Christine was a waitress in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Chelsea. She raised her four nieces, Bobbie, Joyce, Debbi and Terri. Survivors include: one daughter, Phyllis (Leon) Tweedy of Grass Lake; one son, Jerry (Karen) Glover of Monroe; three grandchildren, Jason Glover, Cynthia Janus and Suzanne Kabat; two step grandchildren, Lisa and Darren; five great grandchildren, Brianna, Brenden, Bolin, Shannon and James; six step great grandchildren; two sisters, Dean Gay of KY and Bobbie (Bob) Shackelford of TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one step grandson.
