Julia Ann Steele, age 86 of Clinton Township, passed away March 6, 2022 at her home.

She was born June 10, 1935 to George L. and Cecilia M. (Richards) Romzek in Bad Axe, Michigan. On November 14, 1953 Julia was united in marriage with Robert Steele in Ruth, Michigan.

Julia was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, Clinton Township. Julia enjoyed, quilting, sewing, dancing the Polka, reading, solving word search puzzles, and swimming and exercising at the Warren Community Center. She was a den mother for the Brownies and Girl Scouts, and volunteered at St. Leonard Church and St. Rita Church.

Julia was predeceased by her husband, Robert; son, Richard; grandson, Ryan Rizzo and siblings, Irene Shevokas, Irvin Romzek, Raymond Romzek, Eugene Romzek and Benedict Romzek.

A funeral Mass will be held at Noon, (in state 11:30 a.m.) Monday, March 14, 2020 at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
