Ollie Lee Anglin Damrell, 65, died at her residence Sunday, July 31, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County born January 4, 1957, daughter of the late Andy and Christine Alexander Anglin, homemaker and former employee of Eastern Kentucky University. Ollie was a member of the Holiness Faith and attended Pony Express Holiness Church. She loved her family and was very family oriented. In her spare time she enjoyed farming, gardening and working in her beautiful flower gardens.
Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years Donnie Damrell; 3 children Marty Damrell, Kimberly Kirby (Shawn), Kristie Shearer; brothers Bobby Anglin (Kari Morris), Roger Anglin (Stephanie); grandchildren Logan Kirby, Katie Shearer, Kyle Shearer, Abbigail Kirby; great granddaughter Kenslee Newton; and brother-in -law Darrin VanWinkle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Peggy VanWinkle.
Visitation after 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Red Lick Holiness Church. Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Red Lick Holiness Church with Bro. Artie Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Anglin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Logan Kirby, Kyle Shearer, Roger Anglin, Bobby Anglin, Andrew VanWinkle, Benny Alexander, Brady Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwight Jackson, Dwayne Jackson.
