Wilda was of the Baptist faith and attended Alum Creek Independent Missionary Baptist Church when her health allowed. She was always eager to share the love and goodness of our Lord with others. She was a homemaker and mother of a busy household. Many times, caring for others in her home including extended family members and sometimes even acquaintances who needed a helping hand.
Wilda was a very talented seamstress for her home and family. She shared this talent outside the home for several years at Bobby Brooks, Frankenbergers, some exclusive dress shops and even as a home-based business. Even with her failing health she would crochet and use her artistic talents to make gifts for family and friends. As a mother, grandmother, and sister she will be greatly missed.
Wilda is survived by her four children, Sharon Hylton (Mark) of Mineral Wells, WV, Mark Dixon of St. Albans, WV, Cindy Dixon of Alum Creek, WV, and Teresa Good (John) of Kenna, WV.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, Nathaniel Good (Jessee) of Winnipeg, Canada, Audrey Hylton of Parkersburg, WV, Matthew Good (Cassandra) of Denver, CO, Matthew Hylton of CO, Sarah Dixon of Alum Creek, WV, Heather Dixon (Bobby King) of South Charleston, WV, great-granddaughters, Josie and Skylar of South Charleston, WV, brother, Carl Conner (Diane) and sister, Brenda Snider.
