Vicki Ann Simmons, age 63 of Bridgeton, NJ, departed this life on September 24, 2021, in Inspira Medical Center, Mullica Hill. She was born on August 9, 1958, in Bridgeton, NJ to the late Gloria Jean (Westmore Land) and Willie Lee Simmons.
Vicki was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton and a member of Union Baptist Temple. Vicki graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1977. She graduated from Lyon Technical Institute in 1979. Vicki began working at the age of 17, at Murbeck Knitted Fabrics, then she worked at the Hilton in Atlantic City for 22 years. Her last place of employment before her illness, Elwyn, NJ for 7 years.
Vicki loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. Vicki went on monthly luncheons with the "Breakfast Crew," Sheila, Linda, Yolanda, Regina, Vera, Audrey, Yvonne, and Dolly. She enjoyed her long talks with her cousin and Aunt Sandra. Her lifelong friends: Lenora Curtis, Debbie King, and Sheila Sheppard.
Vicki is survived by her son, Antone D. Simmons, her grandchildren Josiah and Amani Simmons, five siblings: Willie (Crystal), Michael (Sara), Ronald (Tracey) Darryl (Kindra) and Cynthia, 3 sisters-in-law: Syvella DuBoise, Wanda Picott, Carol Rivers, God brother Tyrone Taylor, God sister, Shonta Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly.
