James M. McCloud, Sr., 82, of Keyser, WV, died Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport, MD.



Born on November 27, 1939 in Westernport, MD, he was a son of the late Bryan and Mary (Delawder) McCloud. Twice married, he was preceded by both wives; Rebecca (Spitzer) McCloud on January 9, 1973 and Thelma L. (Baker) McCloud on August 7, 2015; three brothers, John, Thomas and William McCloud and a sister, Joan Peters.



Mr. McCloud was formerly employed with both Queen's-Meadow Point Cemetery and the former Thorne's Vault Company and Garage in Keyser. He retired from Kessel Lumber Company. Mr. McCloud also attended the Second Baptist Church, Keyser and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and talking to his friends.



Surviving are his children, James M. McCloud, Jr. of Keyser, Darin W. McCloud of South Carolina, Cathy Guinn and husband Richard and Kimberly Clark and husband Harold, all of Keyser; a brother, Dennis McCloud of Keyser; four sisters, Betty Laffin of Baltimore, MD, Jean Cantrell and husband Frank of Liberty, SC, June Long and husband Robert of Keyser and Barbara Holley and husband Harold of Gerrardstown, WV; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.



Interment will be in the Queen's-Meadow Point Cemetery, Keyser.
