Martha Elizabeth Adams, 94, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away November 26, 2021, in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1927, to the late Claude Ponder and Maude "Rideout" Ponder.
On June 12, 1949, She was married to Robert David Adams at Doniphan, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2018.
She is survived by; two daughters, Nancy Cross (Don) of Palm Coast, Florida, and Cynthia Wibbenmyer (Lester) of Doniphan, Missouri. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Bob Odom and wife Danyelle and Austin Dunlap and wife Alyssa and two great grandchildren, Kyler Odom, and Kaelyn Odom. Step grandchildren; Ian Cross, Kaylie Cross and Donny Cross. One sister Sarah Condray of St. Louis, Missouri also survives as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister; Peggy Raddle and two brothers, Claude Duke Ponder and Chester "Bud" Ponder.
She was a member of the WestPoint United Pentecostal Church of Doniphan, Missouri. A homemaker she enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, gardening, fishing, cooking, she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and the outdoors.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 30, 2021, starting at 6:00 p.m., with the funeral on Wednesday, December1, 2021, starting at 2:00pm all in the West Point United Pentecostal Church at Doniphan, Missouri. Burial will be in the Amity Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Carr and Elder Charles Carr officiating.
