Susan L. Cole, 48, Brownstown, passed away at 4:39 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at her residence.
She was owner and operator of Susan's Upholstery. Some of her hobbies were sewing, riding motorcycles and spending time with her family and friends. Sue graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 1978. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Seymour, and attended Surprise Christian Church.
Born in Indianapolis on Sept. 23, 1960, she was the daughter of Loran and Carolyn Spurgeon Wilson, both of whom survive.
On May 16, 1981, she married Dennis Cole in Freetown, who also survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kris (Jessie) Cole and Nate (Maggie) Cole; three grandchildren, Dylan Paul Cole, Marley Ellah Cole and Paul Robert Cole; a brother, Loran "Bud" Wilson; three sisters, Monique (Rick) Phegley, Terri (Bryan) Wilson and Cathy Jo Wilson; two half sisters, Brenda (Doug) Strain and Becky Wilson; sister-in-law, Sherry (Mark) Browning; nieces and nephews, Heather Gross, Rusty Phegley, Tim Phegley, Sarah Hughbanks, Matt Wilson, Darin Wilson, Chad Browning, Scott McKnight and Jennifer, Shelley and Wallace Bohall; and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Brooke Suzanne Tilford.
The Rev. Nelson Lee will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Acme Cemetery with a Voss dove release following.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Schneck Medical Center, Seymour, or Acme Cemetery.
