Mrs. Patricia Louise Robertson Green, age 85, of Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Green was born in Floyd County, GA, on January 21, 1937, daughter of the late William Franklin Samuel Robertson and the late Ruby Beard Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daniel "Joe" Green, by a brother, Richard Robertson, and by a niece, Cirrece Sullins. Mrs. Green was a graduate of Rome High School. She retired from Bell South after over 30 years of service where she worked her way up from an operator to the administrative assistant to the regional manager. Mrs. Green was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 children; 4 grandchildren; 3 nieces; nephew-in-law; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as cousins and extended family.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Riverside Baptist Church with her Pastor, Randy Lambert, officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12pm until 2pm at Riverside Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to Mrs. Green's church, Riverside Baptist Church.
