Carolyn Nash Hickman, 71, of Cooper, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 in Cooper.
A memorial service will be held by her family at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the New Hope Church in Cooper. Rev. Dean Eudy and Rev. Johnny Witherspoon will be officiating.
Carolyn was born on February 16, 1944 in Brandon, Mississippi, the daughter of J.B. Nash and Louise Wynne Nash. She married John Isaac Hickman on July 29,1961.
She was a member of the New Hope Church and was a retired chiropractor. She and John had lived in Cooper since 1985.
Survivors include her husband, John Isaac Hickman of Cooper, a son; John R. Hickman of Dallas, two daughters; Connie Farnsworth of Rancho Cordova, CA and Darla Brumbelow of Lantana, TX, two brothers; Gary Nash and Roger Nash, six grandchildren; Christopher Pittman, Tyler Farnsworth, Brittny Brumbelow, Evan Brumbelow, Joshua Farnsworth, and Sarah Farnsworth, and two great-grandchildren; Logan Pittman and Kade Kirby.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Hope Church for Delta Hope House or the Delta County Library.
