Maurer, Theodore "Ted" Jr. age 84 of Brookville, passed away on Wednesday, May 4th, at the
Carlisle Manor Nursing Home. He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran and POW
proudly serving during WWII. He was a member of VFW # 3288 Brookville, and retired from
NCR with over 30 years of service.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew "Matt" (Michelle) Maurer of
Englewood, Theodore "Ted" (Marcia) Maurer III of Jamestown; daughter: Pamela "Pam"
Maurer of Brookville; grandchildren: Steven, Brittany, Michael, Jacob, Amanda (Dave), &
Justin; great granddaughter: Brooklyn; sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathryn "Kate" Phipps of
Lebanon; Thelma Ressler of Canal Winchester, Marjorie Danzeisen of Englewood, Theola
(Hugh) Haines of FL, Shirley (Noel) Denlinger of Trotwood; brother: George (Charlene) Maurer
of Clayton; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his
wife: Eureka Maurer in 2002, parents: Theodore & Esther (Roettger) Maurer Sr., and brother
Adam Maurer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M.on Monday, May 9th, at the Kindred Funeral Home
(400 Union Blvd). The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the

funeral home. Interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville.. If desired, memorial
contributions may be made to either the VA Medical Center or to Crossroads Hospice of
Cincinnati, envelopes will be provided.
