Louise (Johnson) Lindsey, 79, of Inman, SC, died Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born January 27, 1928, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Horton) Johnson and the wife of the late Joshua Thomas "J.T." Lindsey, Jr.

A graduate of Spartanburg High School, she was a retired seamstress and a very devoted member of Rainbow Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jill L. Burnette of Inman; two sons, Mike Lindsey of Inman, and Ray Lindsey of Conway; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Lindsey; a daughter, Joan Suttles; and a sister, Rubye Malone.

Visitation was 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Rainbow Baptist Church.

Funeral services followed at 2:00 PM at the Church conducted by the Rev. Wayne Wall. Burial was in the Church Cemetery.

Flowers were welcome or memorials may be made to Rainbow Baptist Church, 151 Short Cut Road, Chesnee, SC 29323.
