Services for Kelly Fraser Barnes, 47, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Harris, Jim Priddy and JoAnn Simon officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Barnes was born Nov. 25, 1952, in Ardmore, and died at his residence on Nov. 5, 2000.

He married the former Shelly Chapman on April 12, 1995, in Ardmore. He was a truck driver and had lived in Ardmore all his life. He was a member of Ardmore Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, Elks and the Moose Lodge. He served with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.

He loved riding motorcycles with his wife and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly Barnes, of the home; a daughter, Summer Gaines, of the home; his mother, Betty Barnes, of Ardmore; brothers, James Clyde Barnes, of Ozark, Ark., and Dugan Barnes, of Burleson, Texas; mother and father-in-law, Carol and L.J. Chapman, of Courtney. He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. "Barney" Barnes, in 1989; and by a son, Kris Wayne Barnes, on Aug. 14, 2000.

Bearers will be Tony Simon, Joe Bob Owens, Jerrold Chronister, Larry Milson, Dennis Hester and Butch Kinslow.

Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, P.O. Box 2514, Ardmore, Okla. 73402. Honorary bearers will be all motorcycle riders.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight.
