Eduardo was born June 9, 1948, in Moline, IL, the son of Benito and Natalia (Terronez) Ramos. He was a graduate of Alleman High School, Class of 1966. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict as a mechanic. He married Rita Gierlus. He later married Charlotte Neal in 1985, in Rock Island, IL.
Eduardo had worked at Oscar Mayer, Davenport and retired as a brick layer/mason working for his best friend, Jim Braet. He enjoyed fishing, shooting picks, watching westerns, and playing pool. He was a member of MAVA. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his brother, Nicholas Ramos and his buddy, Jim Braet.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Ramos, Silvis; children, Kimberly (Manuel) Collyer, East Moline, Michael (Tafline) Ramos, Australia, Dawn Menestrina, Silvis, Joseph Ramos, Silvis, and Tony Menestrina, East Moline; 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary "Goodie" Ramos, Silvis, Joseph "Ralph" (Dawn) Ramos, East Moline, Rudolph "Rudy" (Jackie) Ramos, East Moline, Bernarda "Nini" (Daniel) Lefever, East Moline, Magdalena "Maggie" (Kelly) Meguffy, East Moline, and Eva Ramos, Silvis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Raymond Hernandez, Fernando Ramos, David Ramos, and Nicholas Ramos.
