Scott A. Ellis passed away peacefully, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, he was home surrounded by his family. Scott was born here in Muncie, April 14, 1964 to Clifford H. and Joyce E. Ellis.

Scott brought the St. Paul United Methodist Church together teaching the Doman and Delacato methods in early childhood. He attended Morrison Mock Elementary School and Hillcroft Services part time for about one year.

Scott had many great caregivers who've helped throughout his life. We would like to thank Individual Support Home Health Agency for their exceptional support and assistance.

Swinging was Scott's favorite pastime and during his younger years, he could be found sitting on the swing set or slide awaiting his Dad's arrival from work, with a smile as big as life. Scott also enjoyed weekends in the pool and family time.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents; one brother, Larry (Peggy) Ellis; one sister, Terri (George) Sank; one nephew, Tyler Ellis; one niece, Lindsey Ellis; and a host of other family and friends who all will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Family and friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. A private burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery at a later date.
