Robert Eugene "Gene" Robinson, 92, passed away at Piedmont Medical Center on Friday, July 8, 2022.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will begin at 4 PM in the church sanctuary with burial following in the church cemetery with Dr. John White officiating.
Gene was born on December 5, 1929 in York, SC. He was a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Gene was a veteran of the US ARMY (Korea) and a member of the American Legion Frank Roach Post 34 in Rock Hill, SC. He is survived by his wife, Jean Cloninger Robinson, his daughter Donna Robinson Proffit of Rock Hill, SC and his sons Thomas Eugene Robinson (Sharon) of Clover, SC , Jeffrey Kyle Robinson, of Clover, SC and Robert Cloninger Robinson of Clover, SC. He is also survived by his sisters Helen Adkins (Joe) of York, SC and Annie Lou Pracht of Columbia, SC and 4 grandsons, two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by 6 siblings.
