"AMAZONIA, Mo. -- Mrs. Nina Marie Meers, 69, died Friday at her home near Amazonia. She was a member of the Amazonia Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harrison Meers of the home; three sons, Paul Meers and John Meers, both of St Joseph, and Sam Meers of Amazonia; four daughters, Mrs. Allene Reynolds of Savannah, Mo., Mrs. Rosali Kozak of Hinsdale, Ill., Mrs. Arminta Steeby of Amazonia and Mrs. Joyce Owens of St Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Carter of St Joseph and Mrs. Stella Miller of Elwood, Kan.; and 14 grandchildren."
