Wes was preceded in death by his parents, the late Roger Elliott and Janie Harris Elliott; three daughters; one grandson; and eleven siblings.
He was educated in the Harnett County School System. He farmed for many years and spent his life as a dedicated member of the Sandhill Community in Bunnlevel, NC, where he was affectionately called "Uncle Wes" by many.
He leaves to cherish his memories; one son- Ernest Elliott (Rose) of Fayetteville, NC; four daughters- Teresa Elliott and Joyce McKethan (Charles) of Fayetteville, NC, Janice Elliott-Ingram (James) of Eastover, NC, and Linda Moore of Lillington, NC; forty-seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Saturday, July 23, 2022, 1PM-5PM. Masks are required.
Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Sunday, July 24, 2022 @ 2PM, following the facilities guidelines for entrance and capacity.
Burial will follow at the Davis Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery, Erwin.
