Justin Duane Boyd, 34, passed away on May 8th, 2019 in Tucson, AZ. Born on November 12, 1984, in Muskogee, Ok, he was the son of Larry Duane and Donna Lea Boyd. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in 2015. He was employed at Metro T-Mobile as a store manager.
Justin enjoyed playing his guitar, boxing, and caring for his beloved dog, Kyra. The only thing to rival his passion for music was his passion for burritos. He will be remembered for his quick wit, contagious smile and tender heart. Justin was a sensitive soul and anyone who was lucky enough to call him a friend knows that he loved with all of his heart.
Justin was a proud uncle to his five nephews and nieces and though separated from them by distance he delighted in watching them grow up through pictures and videos. He said watching them reminded him there was more to life than work.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Lea Boyd; sister, Haley Poffel, and her husband, James; nephews, Larry, Michael, and Kyler; and nieces, Mavis and Teegan; maternal grandparents, Modesto and Theresa Sainz; paternal grandma Connie Turner; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Boyd.
Justin's life will be celebrated at The Brick Church at 1302 S York in Muskogee on Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 p.m.
