Leah Helen Hammond-Fisher, 54, of Corpus Christi, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at her home. She was born in Odessa, Texas on July 18, 1953.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Mark Fisher.

She Attended Carol High School, was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church in La. She took great pride in managing the Carmel Manor Apartments for 11 years. She was a devoted Mother, Daughter, and Sister. She loved her grandchildren, Karaoke, Movies, Bird Watching, Gardening and Country Dancing. She was a friend to all she came in contact with, and will be deeply missed by all.

She is survived by her Daughter Eshelle Saenz and her Son John Paul Willis and Daughter-in-Law Kristy Mendez-Willis, all of Corpus Christi, her Mother and Father Helen and Calvin Cole of Houston, Texas, her Father Van Hammond of Odessa, Texas, Sisters Sandra Holzer of Runge, Rene' Linz (Joseph Lintz) of Corpus Christi, Cynthia Ross (Kevin Ross) of Raleigh, NC, her Brother Gary D. Moore (Robbie Moore) of Austin, Texas, John Cole (Mary Cole) of Arlington, Texas, David C. Cole (Donna Cole) of Raleigh, NC, two Nieces‘, Lee Anne McMullen of Corpus Christi, Rebecca Holzer of Runge, Texas, her seven Grandchildren, Marcus Butler, Tyler Saenz, Mariah Jade Willis, Zander Saenz, John Isaac Willis, Ethan Willis and Ambreanna Saenz, all of Corpus Christi.

Services were held Jan. 27 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, Texas.
