Patricia Adine Cooper Parham was born on Wednesday, February 18, 1948, in Granville County, NC to the parentage of the late Thurman and Emma Doris Howell Cooper. Her daughter was by her side as she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer at her daughter's home.

Patricia, or Pat as she was affectionately called, was baptized at an early age at New Hope Granville Missionary Baptist Church in Berea. She was a member of the Usher Board and enjoyed serving in this capacity. She was a faithful member in person and virtually when the COVID pandemic arrived. She attended school in Granville County and graduated from Joe Toler High School in 1966.

She was employed with Russell Stover Candies in Clarksville, VA. She worked part time at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Oxford, NC where she realized how much she enjoyed working with the public. She also worked at Dollar General in Stovall, NC. She began working at Family Diner when they opened and worked there until her health declined.

On September 20, 1969, she was united in holy matrimony to Samuel Parham, who preceded her in death on February 7, 2018. This union was blessed with one daughter, Wanda Parham.

Pat enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking cakes. She also enjoyed helping her daughter research their family tree and telling family stories. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crafts with them when they were small and encouraging them in everything they did. She was so proud to visit them at college.

In addition to her parents and her husband, two siblings, Carl Ervin Cooper and Bermadine Cooper Jones and one niece, Velma Patton preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter, Wanda Parham Thorpe; her devoted son-in-law, Andre' Thorpe; her granddaughter Alyssa Thorpe; grandson, Andre' (AJ) Thorpe, Jr., all of Stovall, NC; one sister Queen Earle (Douglas) of Durham, NC; and three brothers, Bernard Cooper (Sadie) of Oxford, NC; Gillis Cooper and Theollis Cooper of Berea, NC; two ex-sisters-in-law, Teresa Cooper and Darlene Cooper; six nieces, twelve nephews, nine great nieces, 18 great nephews, seven great-great nieces, seven great-great nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
