He is survived by his wife, Bridget Floyd, of Dallastown, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his children, Todd (Kristi) Floyd, Kelly (David) Salas-Montoya, Brad (Karen) Floyd, Alison (Philip) Sacks, and Forrest (Rachel) Head. Ken will be loved and missed by his 15 grandchildren, with whom he invested much of his time and the best hugs in the world. Rarely a week would go by that he wasn't talking to them by phone or video, spending time with them in person, sending them a card, or planning to visit them. His brothers and sister include Gary (Bonnie) Floyd, Mike (Sharon) Floyd, Stan (Rhonda) Floyd, Deborah Jackson, and Mark Floyd. Ken is also survived by his first wife, Brenda Trim. He will be deeply missed by other family, dear friends, his LCBC church family, and a loving community.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Fern Floyd, of Salem, Missouri and a grandson, Aiden Wiley Head.
Services will be held at a later date so that his family and community can formally celebrate his life. His relationships with family, friends, neighbors, customers, church members, and any who met him was of utmost priority and services to honor him will be forthcoming.
Ken had a varied career in his lifetime from pastor to stock broker to cemetery sales management, to non-profit fundraiser. After his retirement, everyone got to know Ken as the founder and face of Brother Floyd's Righteous Pickles. This was an opportunity for him to connect with his community and even include his grandchildren in events in the area promoting his pickles, singing his songs, and bragging on how much he loved his wife and family. Ken loved being Brother Floyd and will be remembered as someone who always met everyone with kindness and a smile.
