David E. Camp, 77 of Galena, MD passed away on July 16, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital, Wilmington, DE.
David was born on February 25, 1945, son of the late Eugene & Genevieve Bramble Camp. He was a lifelong resident of Galena where he graduated in 1963 from Galena High, there he was a member of the Marching Band and Alumni. He was a U.S Navy Vietnam Veteran serving aboard the USS Sabalo SS 302 Submarine. He had worked for the DuPont Company in Glasgow and Wilmington, DE, until retiring after 30 years of service. He was a life member of Chesapeake City VFW and Betterton American Legion. Dave enjoyed goose and deer hunting on the family farm, collecting old war memorabilia and spending time with family and friends.
Along with his parents he was preceded by his wife Candas Camp in February.
David is survived by his children, Amber Yeager of Sudlersville and Brett Camp (Erica Woodall) of Galena; son in law James Yeager, Sr and grandchildren, James, Jr., Joshua and Alyssa Yeager.
A viewing will be held on Friday, July 29 from 1 to 2 pm in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, Galena, MD where funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial in Galena Cemetery.
