Ryan McGee, 41, of Fredericksburg, departed this life unexpectedly on July 22, 2022. He left far too soon and just two days after his 41st birthday. Ryan was born in Fredericksburg, VA. He graduated from Stafford High School.

In recent years, he was a truck driver for Harris Teeter. Ryan showed us the importance of being proud of his family and keeping them close. He was his Gramps's roommate and keeper. He was like a son to his Gramps. When Ryan wasn't working you could catch him enjoying some quality time on the grill, making fixins for his loved ones.

Sport fanatic and television buff, Ryan would most certainly fill you in on the latest and greatest regarding sports and TV. When he stepped out of the house, he made sure to dress to impress in his Lacoste, Prada, Versace, or any name brand clothing. He certainly didn't go unnoticed. Although Ryan left too soon, there is comfort knowing he is reunited with his Nanny. Ryan will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Margaret "Nanny" Bandy (maternal) and Laverne Sullivan (paternal).

Left to cherish him are his mother; step-father; maternal grandfather; three aunts; uncle; four first cousins; and four second cousins who he loved like his own.

The family will receive friends at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, on Wednesday, August 3rd 2022 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A ceremony will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 4th at 12:30pm. Graveside will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
