Wayne E Christian, 65, of Chestnut Avenue, DuBois, PA died Sunday at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born June 15, 1936, in DuBois, PA, a son of the late Bruce and Florence Reinard Christian. He was married to Elizabeth Pontzer Casey Christian on June 20, 1975. She survives.

He was employed by S&T Bank in DuBois, PA. He retired from the bank with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois, PA.

Survivors include a son, Christopher Casey of St Marys, PA; two daughters, Kim Fidler of Schuylkill Haven and Kathryn Suto of Chicago; two brothers, Dennis and Robert Christian both of DuBois, PA; one sister, Helen Walburn of Erie; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

There was no public visitation. A memorial service was held at 10 am Wednesday at the Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois, PA with the Pastor P. Stevens Lynn officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 463, DuBois, PA 15801 or to a charity of the donor's choice. The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc, DuBois PA was in charge of arrangements.
