Her step-siblings, Kim Vickery, Robert (Loana) Donaldson, and Christopher (Diana) Donaldson all of New York. Renée attended Saugerties High School, graduating with honors in 1981. Renée left many friends in her hometown of Saugerties, NY including her "Ya-Ya" Sisters, many community organizations and her church family at St. Johns the Evangelist.

In 2005, Renée made the bold decision to begin her life anew, and moved to Florida with her son, George who was pursuing a higher education at Jacksonville University. She began her career at St. Johns County School District working her way up to the position of Executive Secretary to the Senior Director of School Services, a position where she was a most proud and respected member of the Districts team. Serving on the Pursuing Victory with Honor Program, assisting athletes, coaches and directors. The program that truly blessed her heart was the St. Johns County School District Team Assist, helping homeless students and their families in transition and fundraising for their cause. Renée baked countless cookies for the annual Christmas Trolley Ride.
Renée is being honored in February with the First Annual Renée Baker Leadership Award for her work with the School District. Her caring heart and willingness to serve along side her co-workers will be remembered by all who knew her.

Renée was dedicated to her devoted husband Bobby, sharing an all-to-brief marriage of ten years. Having met in 2005, they shared an immediate bond, and found their soulmates within one another. A marriage short on time, but rich and full of devotion. They were married in Las Vegas on July 1, 2007, and renewed their vows having their marriage blessed by God on Dec. 11, 2017 at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, St. Johns, FL.

She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her as someone who lived well, laughed often, and loved much. A woman who was happiest in the kitchen, entertaining for family and friends, always baking something delicious, and preparing many dishes which have been passed down through each generation of her family. Every chance she had her time was spent with her son Georgie, and her beloved granddaughter Khloe.
