Harold Ray Mitchell, 90, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Audley Rhea Mitchell and Sidney Lou Langford Mitchell.

Harold was a godly man and proud member of NorthStar Baptist Church. He served in the Korean War and, after his honorable discharge, later retired from Raytheon as a machinist. Harold will be remembered as a loving father, husband, and grandfather; his kind and giving spirit will never be forgotten.

Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Betty Tate Mitchell; eldest son, David Mitchell; and sister, Peggy Cunningham.

Survivors include: As per Find a Grave's new rules the survivor section of the obituary is omitted.

The Mitchell family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Saturday July 30, 2022, in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home at 12 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Sproles officiating. Following the Funeral Service, a Graveside will be held at 2 pm in the Garden of Good Shepherd in East Lawn Memorial Park; grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
