Richard O. "Dick" Bennett, age 85, passed away on his birthday, July 25, 2022.

He was born in Sterling, Oklahoma on July 25, 1937, to the late Eual and Hazel Bennett. Dick was united in marriage to Judy Ann Long on April 6, 1958. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956-1959. Dick also worked for Chicago Lumber Company for over 17 years.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert Paul and his wife, Judy Ann Bennett on July 4, 2022.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Graser; sons, Terry (Gwen), Alvin, and Kevin Bennett, honorary daughter, Rhonda Silva, all Council Bluffs; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Gail Bennett.

Visitation Sunday 2:00pm to 4:00pm at funeral home. Funeral services Monday 10:00am also at funeral home. Dick will be laid to rest with his wife, Judy, in Ridgewood Cemetery. Funeral Service will be available for livestream on the funeral home website via Richard's obituary page under 'Tribute Wall'.
