Word was received Monday by Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Dixon, 509 S. Rustin, that their son-in-law, Phil Brooks, 38, died in his home in Toole, Utah, Saturday after a heart attack and brief illness. He was born in Sioux Falls, S. D., and was married to Marion Dixon of Sioux City, January 30, 1841. They went to Utah three years ago. He was a member of the Utah state guard. Surviving, besides his widow, are his mother and a married sister, both of Sioux Falls. The body will arrive in Sioux City Friday and will be at the W. Harry Christy funeral home pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Phil Brooks, 38, who died Saturday at his home in Toole, Utah, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the W. Harry Christie chapel in Morningside. Rev. Gaydon E. Graham of the Four Square Gospel mission will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. The body is expected to arrive at the funeral home early Friday.
