Born January 19, 1958 in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Brittain.
Naomi attended high school in Springfield, MA, and shortly after met the love of her life, William Gordon. They married right in Naomi's room at the Glens Falls Hospital shortly before her passing to celebrate 32 years of being together.
Naomi enjoyed going to garage sales and could often be found singing. She was a "foodie" and enjoyed using a CB radio. She was empathetic and treated everyone she met with compassion and respect. She was easy to talk to, and often worried more about other people than she did about herself.
Most of all, Naomi loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. They will all miss the time they spent camping and fishing at South Bay. Naomi had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Naomi is predeceased by her sisters; Darlene Goodwin (David), and Nancy Dickinson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, William Gordon, her children; Darlene Fuller (Jay), Jessica Helm (Peter), Carrie Beckwith (Jeremy), Lisa Ball (Adam Helm), and William Gordon Jr., her grandchildren; Bradley, Cody, Kyle, Andrew, Isaiah, Becca, Aiden, Novalee, Cameron, Rylee, Liam, Lily, and Bella (who Naomi affectionately called Zoomie), her sisters; Diana, Julie and Robin, her longtime friend Lynn Flaven, and her beloved dachshunds, Sadie and Ayla, as well as Lisa's dog Bennie.
Burial will follow the service at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY.
