An award winning debater throughout high school and Stanford University, Doug went on to complete his law degree at Boston University. When he wasn't practicing law, Doug competed in a number of leather competitions, taking home the title of Mr. Faultline Leather 2000, and going on to be among the finalists in the International Mr. Leather 2000 competition. After years of saving the world one case at a time, Doug decided to leave Los Angeles and move to Palm Springs to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. While living in Palm Springs, Doug finally found a place he could call home. He joined the Caballeros, the Gay Men's Chorus of Palm Springs, was a member of their ensemble group, Los Amigos, and made many loving friends.
A memorial will be held in Palm Springs in the springtime. For information about the memorial, please contact Doug's daughter, Emma, at: [email protected].
