Joel Stephen Morgan, age 85, of Almond, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 22, 2022.

He was born in the Town of Belmont, WI on October 4, 1936, a son of the late Leonard and Gertrude (Wiora) Morgan.

Joel proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1960. Joel enjoyed the simple things in life such as his love of farming, nature, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Joel was cherished by many for his warm heart and kindness. His family is grateful for all the memories of cow chasing, raking hay, and "pulling pranks on Grandpa." He will be missed so dearly.

Survivors include his three daughters: Christina (Brad) Kurkowski, Kathy (Dan) Miner and Marianne (Taylor) Dernbach; and one brother, Clifford Morgan. He is further survived by his six grandchildren, great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Phylis Bartkowiak and Maureen "Pat" Schulke, and his brother, Dan Morgan

A Military Honor service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
