He was born on September 6, 1933 in New Albany, IN to the late Gene Box and Marion McDaniel Brashear.
He was a retired pipefitter and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed going to the VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693, New Albany.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lessie Box.
Ronald is survived by his children, Roxanna Box, Gregory Scott Box, Michael Timothy Box, David Keith Box and Darryl Todd Box; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services are private at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
