Terry Keith Gill, age 83, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Terry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Ann Gill (nee Beckwith); children: Terry (Jenny) Gill, Todd (Trisha) Gill and Troy (Kinlynn) Gill; grandchildren: Jackie (Ryan) Thompson, Lydia Gill, Jaeger & Macee Gill, Renee & Karleigh Conner and Ty & Trent Gill; brothers: Max Gill, Jerry (Tina) Gill, Dean (Kathy) Gill, Dale Gill; sisters: Marilyn (Bob) Sheridan, Phyllis (Tom) Hawkins; and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Helen Gill.
Terry was a graduate of Merrillville High School, Class of 1956 and served his country in the artillery unit for the U.S. Army. Terry worked for and retired as a supervisor from U.S. Steel with 30 years of service, then for Chicago Steel and lastly for In Touch Pharmaceuticals. Terry never missed an event and loved watching all of his boys and grandchildren play sports and even coached Merrillville Pop Warner Football for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, boating and going to his lake house on Chapman Lake in Warsaw, IN for 27 years. Terry was looking forward to being a great-grandfather. He was devoted and loyal to his family and will be greatly missed.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM with Pastor Joshua Landers officiating.
