She volunteered for 12 years with CASA representing 21 children in the court system. She used her abilities and resources to bless family, assist others and she loved her many pet dogs.
She began her extremely happy marriage to George E. Pierce on 4/9/1966 in Houston, TX. Their total devotion to each other lasted until his death on 1/21/2009, just shy of 43 years. She loved her Lord first, then her husband, son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, with lots of love left for her dogs.
Paula enjoyed bridge, travel, cooking, singing, and her weekly "lunch group". She often said the only things she did really well were cook, dance, type, and drive a car.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her beloved cousin, Phyllis Cunningham.
Paula trusted her life to Jesus Christ and never wavered in that faith. She knew that she would be in the presence of her Lord upon her death. She looked forward to bowing before His throne first, then seeing her parents and her dear husband.
