Kenneth Neil York died in Fort Worth Texas on July 22, 2022. He was born in Spanish Fort Texas on November 23, 1934 to Harry and Chessie (Hargrove) York. He graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1954 and immediately moved to Fort Worth Texas, soon afterward, he was drafted into the US Army and served 2 years. After he was discharged, he went to work for Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth Texas. In 1965, he married Doris Andrews, who had also worked for Bell Helicopter. They both spent over 35 years at Bell Helicopter before retiring. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Howard York, Norman York, and sister Janie Shelton. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Cox of Plano Texas and Brenda Hancock of Oregon, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, Brother-in-law, Jack Shelton and Nephew Darren and his wife, Cindy of Forth Worth Texas. Special company of the last 8 years, Doris York. He will be missed by Special Friends, Tommy Fenoglio, Montague Texas, Glenna Clay of Nocona Texas and Jim and Sharon Kenna of Fort Worth Texas, along with many other friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, at 10:00 AM, Service to follow 11:00 AM, at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will at the Nocona Cemetery.
