Bellingham, Washington - Muriel A. Ellis, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 16, in Bellingham. She was born April 15, 1930 in Blaine to parents Marvin Lewis and Ella Gertrude (Hickey) Allen. Muriel was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. "Pete" Ellis in September of 2012 and her parents. She is survived by her son Dennis and numerous other relatives. Muriel worked for years as a Licensed Practical Nurse she loved helping people. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Bellingham, she also loved music, writing songs and playing various instruments including the accordion, guitar and the harp. Muriel loved the outdoors hunting, fishing and hiking and was known as the "Picket Lady". A graveside service will be held Monday, July 25, 2022, 11:00 AM at Haynie Cemetery, 8855 Valley View RD., Custer, WA 98240.
