Mary C. Fickle At her request, there will be no services for Mary C, Fickle, 88, of Santa Maria, who died Monday in a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness. Cremation was requested, and private inurnment will be at a later date.
Mrs. Fickle was born in Goleta, and had lived in Santa Maria since 1920. She was an avid gardener and artist. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Bets and Walt Stier, Santa Maria, and Caroline and Michael Hall, Florence, Ore.; 2 granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fickle, in 1983 ; Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
