Richard Craig Stegall, of Crestview, FL, formerly of Galesburg and Berwick, IL passed away Thursday January 17, 2008 at the North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL.
He was born July 15, 1946 in Galesburg the son of Floyd and Lois Walker Stegall.Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, serving his country faithfully in the United States National Guard. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1964. He attended the University of Illinois and Iowa Wesleyan. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Stegall; two sons, Tyson (and Neili) Stegall and Brad Stegall, both of Peoria, IL; two daughters, Brandi Schleich and Cari Anne Shinn, both of Peoria; two brothers, Dave Stegall of San Francisco, CA and Scott (and Lisa) Stegall of Cherry Hill, NJ; his step mother, Pat Stegall of Galesburg; two brothers-in-law, Billy of Crestview, FL and James of Luca, KY; three grandchildren Brandon, Rylee, and Alexandria and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 AM Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, Galesburg IL. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the American Heart Association.
