Patrick Earl Reynolds of Clintwood, VA passed away at the age of 71 on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN after a sudden illness.  

Pat was born on March 17, 1949 in Fremont, VA.  He graduated from Clintwood High School in 1967.  He was of Christian faith and was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.  He worked hard many years supporting his family as a coal miner.  He was an avid fisherman, loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed watching Tennessee football, and had a great love for his John Deere Tractor and his dog, Riley. 

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Price Reynolds and Stuart Reynolds; sister, Ginger Edwards

Pat is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Hay Reynolds of Clintwood; four children, son, Brian and Lisa Reynolds of Radford, VA, daughter, Rebecca and Matt Hurt of Wise, VA, daughter, Erryn Mullins of Clintwood, son, Joshua and Kelsey Reynolds of Clintwood; four grandchildren, Emilee Reynolds, Madison Mullins, Hayden Mullins, and Carly Hurt; one brother, Jimmy and Brenda Reynolds of Riner, VA, two sisters, Debbie Kiser and Steve Quick of Gum Spring, VA and Jeanette Smith of Louisa, VA

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 4 until 6 pm at Clintwood Funeral Home. Respecting Pat's wishes, a private service will be held for his immediate family.
