JEANNE MARIE ANNE GARAND (née PERREAULT)
C'est avec une grande tristesse qu'on annonce le décès de notre maman (man) le lundi 1er juin 2020 lorsque Raymond lui tenait la main. Man est née le 8 mars 1918 et a vécu pour 102 ans.
Elle est partie rejoindre son mari Jean-Marie Garand, trois de ses enfants morts à la naissance, ses parents Alfred Perreault et Cléophée (née Larivière), ainsi que sept soeurs et frères.
Elle laisse à chérir sa vie ses trois enfants avec leurs partenaires / epoux. Elle est mémère de neuf petits-enfants et leurs partenaires / epoux, ainsi de deux belle-filles avec leurs partenaires / epoux. Elle est aussi arrière-grand-mère de dix-neuf arriere-petits-enfants.
Man est née à la maison sur le chemin de la Fourche et a vécu à St. Pierre-Jolys toute sa vie. Elle a eu la chance d'avoir un campe en premier à Vita et ensuite à Roseau River.
Elle aimait beaucoup les simples choses de la vie, un p'ti cou, les fleurs, les oiseaux, mais pas tant les écureuils, car ils volaient la nourriture des oiseaux. Elle se réjouissait grandement des rencontres de famille et surtout de la visite de ces petits et arrière-petits-enfants.
À cause de la deuxième épidémie qu'elle a survécu, une célébration de sa vie et un enterrement se feront avec la famille immédiate seulement.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on Monday, June 1, 2020, with Raymond holding her hand. Our mother was born on March 8, 1918, and lived to be 102 years old.
She has rejoined her husband Jean-Marie Garand, three children who died at birth, her parents, Alfred and Cléophée Perreault, along with her seven siblings.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Corinne and feu Roland Sabourin; Renée and Albert Dumontier; Claire and Paul Dychkawych; André and Murielle; Raymond and Ruby. Her grandchildren: Gaetan (Diane) and Pierre (Joanne) Sabourin; Joelle (Jon) White, Lynda (Peter) Holden; Tanya (Eddy) Woo, Ryan (Michelle) Dychkawych; Yvan (Suzanne), Rossel and Serge (Rachel) Garand; Eric (Laura), Marc (Morgan) and Robert Garand. She is also the great-grandmother of Shane, Dawson, Alain and Cody Sabourin; Ryan and Josée White; Brookelynn and Rudy Buchanan and Sarah Holden; Christopher, Madison and Tasia Woo; Islington and Emerson Dychkawych; Kylee, Raylyn, and Dominic Garand; Orre and Gabriel Garand.
Our mother was born on the family farm and spent all her life in St. Pierre Jolys. She enjoyed her camp first in Vita, then in Roseau River. She relished the visits of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Due to this being the second epidemic that she survived, a celebration of her life and burial will be held for the immediate family only.
