ATASCADERO - Private funeral service will be conducted for Eliza Ann Higgins Doty of San Jose this Friday at 7 p.m. at Gray's Funeral Chapel, Atascadero , with Rev. Lowell Young officiating. Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Doty died at San Jose Wednesday, May 8, at 11:15 p.m. from injuries which she received in an automobile accident in that city a year and a half ago in which her sister, Mrs. George O. Neale was killed.
Mrs. Doty was born at Orwell, Vt. She was the sister of the late Jay C. Higgins and the aunt of Ethel and Mildred Higgins, both of Atascadero. The former is employed in County Superintendent R. L. Bird's offices and her sister is also employed in San Luis Obispo in the Assessor's office. Mrs. Doty also leave a brother, Dwight M. Higgins of Los Angeles.
